The La Aurora S.C.A. Co-operative was founded in Montilla in 1963 as a result of the initiative of a large group of independent farmers dedicated to growing vines for the production wine. Ten years later, in 1973 it was named as a Model Co-operative. For the first years of its life its market was mainly wine in bulk, but new markets have forced them to modify their systems and to offer a complete finished product with the maximum guarantees of quality and presentation.
